Mickelson wins in California

Phil Mickelson won the Northern Trust Open in California by one stroke, finishing with a score of 15-under-par 269 overall. This was the left-hander’s 35th career title, and made him only the fourth player to win in consecutive years at Riviera. Steve Stricker finished a stroke behind, with K J Choi, Andres Romero and Fred Couples tied for third at 13 under
